Sr. Workday Application Analyst, Finance & Adaptive, Grocery Tech Business Operations & Program Management

As a Sr. Workday Application Analyst, you will provide hands-on expertise in Workday Finance and Adaptive to optimize performance across hybrid cloud and on prem environments. You will translate business needs into technical configurations, lead testing, and uphold system integrity while supporting both daily operations and strategic enhancements. You'll collaborate with WWGS finance and IT teams to deliver scalable, compliant financial solutions that drive operational excellence. This role offers a chance to shape financial workflows in a large retail ecosystem and grow through cross-functional mentorship.

• Design, configure, and maintain Workday Finance and Adaptive modules to meet business requirements and optimize performance
• Provide technical expertise on financial system architecture and troubleshooting of complex issues
• Monitor system metrics, ensure high availability, and uphold user satisfaction
• Configure core financial components (Ledger Accounts, Cost Centers, Journal Entries, Account Posting Rules) and Manage Accounts Payable workflows
• Translate business needs into technical specifications; design scalable Workday solutions
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans; utilize Kainos for automated testing to ensure regression coverage
• Collaborate with WWGS finance, IT, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders on integrations and enhancements
• Create technical documentation and support ongoing operations and enhancements

• 3+ years of stakeholder management experience
• 5+ years of Workday Finance and/or Adaptive project/implementation experience
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
• Experience writing and publishing technical documents or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Experience with Agile methods (preferred)
• Vendor management experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of AWS services (preferred)
• Experience with multiple Workday modules (preferred)
